Lunging to the ball
by: Coach Dave

It is common for good hitters to try and pull the ball since that is where most hitters show their power. Play a point game in batting practice in the cages or on the field where they get more points for hitting to CF and RF (opposite field). That way they get reinforcement for hitting the ball to all fields but it is in a competitive game format so they don't realize what you are doing.

Thank you
Coach Dave
